The Naval Technical School recently held a ground breaking ceremony for the "new turnkey project of the Zuoying Base Training Ground Internship Building". The principal, Rear Admiral Guo, presided over the ceremony and offered incense and prayers together with the distinguished guests. At the same time, the ground breaking ceremony was performed to wish the project a complete success.
In his speech, Principal Guo said that the "Zuoying Base Internship Building" has newly built a fire-fighting and leak-stopping training ground to strengthen the ship's officers and soldiers’ ability to face the damaged environment caused to the ship during maritime operations, and to achieve training effectiveness and safety maintenance goals. By reducing maritime accidents caused by human factors and improving the command and control and reaction of ship officers and soldiers after disasters occur, we could bring into play the benefits of asymmetric combat and enhance the safety of ship battlefield.
